Welcome to the Blog of Sound. If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably wondering what the Blog of Sound is and who the folks behind it are. Well, look no further because I’m here to reveal the secrets behind the Blog of Sound.
We’ve only be around since the tail end of June 2007 but have already gained a reputation for music commentary, critiques, and exposing “unknown” bands to an otherwise unassuming public. Every entry in the Blog of Sound is based on opinion though we try to document as many facts as possible. Here at the Blog of Sound we aim to follow the same journalistic standards as every entertainment magazine and newspaper either in print or online.
The Blog of Sound is continuously updated by creator Laura Robida, a journalist from Connecticut, who writes under the username of Apethia82. Laura is the voice behind the popular weekly Blog of Sound feature “Indie Noise,” in which she profiles two independent bands which might be worth taking a listen to. She trolls through Myspace, listens to recommended bands (and oftentimes purchases CDs from these bands) and weeds out the good, the bad, and the mediocre and presents some of the best that indie bands have to offer. Laura is more than happy to take suggestions on future “Indie Noise” prospects and you can email her at blogofsound@yahoo.com. Or drop by the Blog of Sound’s myspace page at www.myspace.com/blogofsound and leave a comment or message. She’s always happy to hear new music and is anxious to grow her list of “listen-worthy” bands. In addition to “Indie Noise,” Laura frequently publishes commentaries on the music industry.
Thanks for dropping by the Blog of Sound. We look forward to hearing from you.

We have a new record that we would love for you to hear and possibly review: “Split the Difference”. Address please?
You did offer a write up about the band previously that was quite positive!
